Jaya is about my cheeky yet adorable daughter and sung in Malay with some French. It is also a tribute to Congolese rumba.

This track also features the playing of Ugandan drummer Mariam Namuyodi, who is also part of my live backing band.

Jaya will also be available on my upcoming LP, nusantarafrika.
