Inspired by the music of Fela Kuti, King Sunny Ade and Newen Afrobeat, “Ready To Go” is written about the hustle and bustle of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.

Featuring Christian Magnusson on trumpet, the song aims to capture the hectic pace of life in Kampala from an outsider’s perspective.

Ready To Go will also be available on my upcoming LP, nusantarafrika.
